How to change and use the Jira/projects/Backlog filter

I would like to change the filter of Jira Backlog.
Steps.
1. Open Project
2. Select Backlog on left side in the menu.
3. I am searching for an option to see a selection of issuetypes. I assume i have to change this filter. Select "View issues in issue navigator".
FYI - This is not the same filter as the Board issue.
