How to capture contact number (custom field) in NNN-NNN-NNNN format ?

Hey, I have created a custom field to capture the contact number. Now I want the number to be captured in NNN-NNN-NNNN format. How to add this condition where the user enters the 10 digit number and it is auto-populated in the mentioned format ?

You can not do it out of the box. Kindly have a look and Power Custom Fields add-on. It is a free add-on and there is a regex field, which can accomplish your task:
