How to bulk move selected stories between epics in one go?

Hi Team,

I have created a product backlog epic and added the stories. Team have decided to work on the stories as per client ask. So, I have created a new epic specific to the client and want to move the stories from product backlog epic to the new epic. However, I couldn't find the option to bulk move (select the stories and move in one go). Need a helping hand.

FYI: The 2 epics are in the same project.

Platform: Jira classic software

Hi @G subramanyam 

Do this.

  • Click on the existing Epic, it will filter the issues under it.
  • Bulk select the issues in the range using shift or ctrl for one by one
    • While the issues are selected | Bulk Change
    • Edit Issue | Change Epic Link and select the new epic.
    • OR
    • Simple drag them to another epic.

Check the screenshot below. Bulk change will allow you to do other change if you want.

Hi @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ thank you for the screenshot and steps. I couldn't replicate the steps in office portal. I will try in my sandbox and will update you.
