How to bulk add to a field?

Prior to the latest jira update, it was possible to bulk add values to any field as long as they were comma separated.

Seems like that functionality no longer works as jira assumes its one long value instead. 

Is there a workaround to bulk adding? Especially on the account/master account/firm fields where its common to add multiple values at once

By bulk edit are you referring to multiple values to a field while updating one issue?

Or the more common definition of updating a field on multiple issues at once?

If the first, then that field needs to support multiple values, it sounds like you may be trying to do this on a text or multiline field?  I would expect it to treat commas as text and not as value separators.  If you are in a choice field, like a pulldown that allows multiple values, then commas should work as separators.  I don't have a Jira instance handly or I would test to make sure it's not a recent Cloud 'feature'.

If it's the latter, then how are you trying the bulk edit? CSV export/import?
