How to block access to log time in a project without a task

Is it possible to block time entry access to a project without having added a task to it?  We use the app Tempo Timesheet to log our hours .

Hi Celine,

You can remove the Work on Issue project permission. It does not remove the option from logging time, but it will give them an error. For more information about the required Tempo permission to log time, please see the link https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-timesheets/logging-your-time.html

Let me clarify my question.

We want a task to be mandatory for time entry. We do not want any projects without tasks. How can we prevent people from entering time without having a task?

@Celine  In Jira & Tempo, when logging time, you have to pick an issue/task. It's not possible to log time without selecting a task.

Normally, the problem is the other way around that you will have issues with no time logged.
