How to best track KPI and Milestones in JIRA?

We are managing progress of projects and programs using JIRA.

One of our concerns is to track progress of KPI and Milestones in a way that makes it very simple to check if we are on track or not.

Indeed some parts of our projects and programs are not led by our group but by other business and functional groups within the company.

Ideally we would love to have a dashboard, a tool highly visual to check on our progress to achieve KPI and Milestones.
