How to avoid reset of Hierarchy selection in Roadmap when refreshing

Every time I want to refresh a Roadmap Plan, the Hierarchy is reset from Uber-Initiative to Sub-Tasks, which takes for ages to load when you work with hundred of thousands of tickets. While I had - before the refresh - "Uber-Initiative to Initiative".

All other configurations are kept after a refresh: view settings, filters,expanded/collapsed filters.... EXCEPT for Hierarchy, which is pretty annoying when I just want Uber-Initiatives or Uber and Initiatives, but must wait or change again and again from sub-tasts back Initiative.

Any tips?

In the past I remember some plan settings were on a user/session level stored as cookies, then they changed that. If some settings retain their state, but hierarchy doesn't, then it sounds like something up to Atlassian.
