We have a workflow for an Issue type that creates one Parent issue and a number of subtasks (automatically created).
I am trying (with Bob Swifts add ons) to transition the parent to a new status when one specific subtask is closed, is that possible?
I know it's doable when ALL subtasks are closed but I would like an automatically status change of the parent when just one specific subtask is closed
Fixed it by creating a separate subtask and a separate workflow for just that subtask - then I could use the proper post function on the close transition
Had to create a separate workflow or all the subtasks for trigger the transition and I just wanted the one specific subtask to trigger it
Hi @Jennie Peleback ,
I haven't worked with the specific addon you use but would it not be possible to trigger it on the subtask itself?
if you go bottom up the trigger will be the specific subtask and then transition the parent.
Again, not sure it works with that addon but sounds logical if you can do it on the parent and subtask is just another issuetype
