How to automatically set all issues in a project to a specific team?

I need to automatically set the default Team for all new issues created in a Jira project, and hope to set team name to be the same as project name.

Is there any automatic solution in Jira?

Hi,

There is no solution Out of the box for this. You can only assign issue automatically to one person.

One solution might be to create a generic user and set his mail to a shared mailbox and assign all issue to this new user and all people connected to the mailbox will receive a mail from jira (look at the notification scheme).

Or create a group picker and use scriptrunner to automatically set the right value to this customfield.
