How to automate copying across field values from a trigger issue to the current issue?

So for an automation I need to clone an issue from CP project to MC project. One of the fields of CP project is 'Client Reporter Email Id' whose value needs to be copied into the 'Reporter' field of MC Project. However Jira automation's don't allow us to set values from a different field of the trigger issue to the current issue where the automation is running. Is there any workaround to achieve setting values of fields from across the issues.

Hi Saksham,

Here you can select Choose fields to set as shown in the attachment and then select the field 

which you want to copy from trigger issue and then set value as copy from current issue.

Thank you for the reply. However, what I want to achieve is to copy the values in the field (Client Reporter Email ID) from the trigger issue (CP issue) to the cloned issue (MC issue) field which is labelled as 'Reporter'.
