How to automate branch creation for self-managed GitLab integration?

Hello, the setup I work with connects JIRA Cloud and self-managed GitLab. The two are connected using an app installed from self-managed GitLab descriptor json. The "development" fields get correctly populated for issues when commits refer to them and the "create branch" button correctly refers to the self-managed GitLab branch creation.

However, when managing automations, the "Create branch in Gitlab" action prompts me to connect with gitlab.com rather than the self-managed Gitlab. How can I produce an automation which creates a branche in self-managed Gitlab?
