Hi

We have a condition where we need to move a jira issue to another status if it spent x duration in a particular state. For example: If an issue is under QA status for 3 days, we want to automatically move it to "Dev" status and assign it to the previous person who was working on it.

I have tried triggers and conditions, but not able to make it.

Thanks & Regards

Harsimran Singh

Hi @Harsimran Singh ,

With the help of Automation for Jira you will be able to configure this. Please refer below sample rule.

As @Avinash Bhagawati _Appfire_ said, you will need a plugin to do it automatically.

If you don't want to purchase a plugin, i will suggest you to create a filter that will show all issue that respond to your requirement and make a bulk edit.

Note that you can make a subscription to your filter, and receive when you want an email with the result filter.

Hope this helps.
