We want to create projects in JIRA and associate them with to organization, how can it be done?
is there any way to add a custom field on the project itself?
In Easy Redmine we can associate project and organization.
Hi @kiran nikam , so what does it mean to associate a project to an organization exactly? Also, what defines an Organization? If you mean you want a project to be accessible only to a certain group of people consider the following:

Hi @Jack Brickey: Thanks for the response.
In our CRM system, we create Customers and Projects. We use JIRA APIs to create Customers and Projects in JIRA and then return their IDs to the CRM system.
Allow me to elaborate.
In this scenario, I am considering the organization as a customer, such as Atlassian or Microsoft are organizations/customers.
We have multiple customers, each with their own set of projects. For example, Customer 1 has Proj_A and Proj_B, while Customer 2 has Proj_X and Proj_Y.
Our goal is to create these projects in JIRA and establish a relationship between the project and the customer, rather than having the organization recorded on tasks/issues.
It is easy for the customer-facing team to search projects by customer. Reporting becomes simplified, and time logging can easily be captured per project and rolled up to customers.

I "think" your requirements are easily managed using Jira Service Management. Have you considered using JSM? Here is a quick overview.
Users:
projects can be created and configured to allow Specific Customers to have access. You could have a project per customer org, e.g. Microsoft, Apple, etc. or you could have a single project and use Organization feature to isolate customers.

Oh, and Customer users are free. Only Agents are paid licenses.

Thanks @Jack Brickey for quick response.
We are currently considering using JSM for either Customer Support or Service Desk.
However, the projects we are discussing are development projects intended for internal users only and will not be accessible to customers. Though these are simple PD projects, but they do have customers/organizations assigned to them. Hence, we want to use them for internal users and not for customers or agents.
