In the rôle list I cannot see the jira-guest-member role. ROVO had identified it. Can you explain why?

Hi Andry - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This is a group name - you can assign it to a project role.

That's because you are on the Free subscription. You cannot control permissions or who can see what on the Free plan.

I don't think I'm in a free plan. Could you check please (For you - Jira)

Thank you

I am just going by the tags on this post in the upper right. I am just a user like you and do not have access to your Jira instance. But you can check by going to Settings > Billing. This will tell you which plan you are on.

Our plan is STANDARD. Should I upgrade it according to you? Is the standard model able to assign a guest who sees ONLY his one project?

If I need to upgrade, which version can provide this fonction easily?

Thank you

I'm going to upgrade le plan. Here is what Rovo told to me

The jira-guest-member role is a feature that is only functional on Jira Premium and Enterprise plans. While the role may appear in your project settings on the Standard plan, you cannot add users to it — that's why it remains empty with 0 actors.

Here's the plan comparison:

Feature

Standard

Premium

Enterprise

Guest role (non-billable)

@Andry RAZAFINDRAZAKA
Based on the formatting, I assume "jira-guest-member" is a group in your organization and not a project role. Do you have Org admin permissions? If so, you should be able to confirm this.
