How to add sub-tasks?

Does the possibility to create sub-tasks differs from the plan that I use? Following the instractions, I could not find the button to create a sub-task. Could anyone help?

They're under the options menu at first, and once you have one on an issue, then a small + will appear in the subtasks section to trigger the creation of more.

To use them though, the project must be configured correctly. i.e.

• The issue type scheme must have one or more subtask types in it
• The project must not be a "Next Gen" project - these don't support them yet
