I want to know how to create a widget based on the story point in the dashboard.
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Numeric values, are by definition, not statistical groupings. So you can not use them in the statistics gadgets.
There is a cheat of course - create a new field that is a statistical grouping (a select list contains statistic group type options) and set up an automation that sets that field when you add or edit story points on an issue.
Note that it's not as simple as "copy story points to field". The list field will have a fixed list of options (like 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 etc) and your story points field is perfectly capable of holding 4, 7, 3.14159, 2.71828, and so on. So you will need to code for ranges of values (if > 8 and < 13, then select 13, for example)
Hello @delaram nezami,
I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.
With our app, you can sum up story points and any other Jira number field, using the Quick Issue Statistics gadget, the Quick Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget or the Pie Chart gadget.
You can check out our app without installation on our demo dashboards.
