How to add dots to stories to track the time?

I can't find the option to enable the "days in column option"

Here is what i have in Card layout :

You're not quite in the right area; rather than Card Layout, choose Columns, and check Days in Column.

Weird. You state that your installation type is unknown (server or cloud), but your screenshot looks just like mine, which is server, so I would assume that's what you're running. Which version are you running?

it's version 8.6.1, is this the reason why?

Fanny, I wouldn't think so; we're running version 8.5.0, so they're very close. I was wondering if you were running a significantly older version. I'm stumped. I guess it might be related to permissions. ???
