How to add custom field to component

We have hierarchical component having some additional fields. Is there any way to add custom field to outbox JIRA component page ?

Please suggest the solution or any customization approach that helps.

No, the "fields" associated with components are more like properties, not fields. The code behind them is a fixed part of the core, not something you can amend.
