How to add custom field "Progress %" field for each issue type.

Hello All,

I can add a number custom field and name it as "Progress %" but it just takes numbers. It does not display as %. 

Is there any way where I can create filed that accepts number values but displays as "%" symbol next to number

Also I want this number to sum up to the parent issue.

Pl. suggest how to achieve this in Jira. I m ok to go with any additional add on as well.

I haven't had the need to create a percentage field and didn't try the above apps. You can try them as evaluation and see if there is something they can provide.
