How to add clickable URL in JIRA version descriptions?

Sebastien Ashby

Hi,

I want to create linkages between versions in JIRA and Confluence pages dedicated to them.

The ideal solution for me would be to have a way to render URLs entered in the versions description fields, (See attached image).

But an alternative could be to extend the information associated with a version to add a URL.

Said URL would be displayed and clickable from the various screens showing version.

For example in the various version related tabs in the project pages.

So I seek answers or guidance on how to accomplish this myself.

Thank!

You can't do that without a plugin. Metadata plugin might be a good option.
