How to add an issue to a running \ current sprint?

the easiest way is to go to the Backlog and drag it up to the current active sprint. you can also go to the issue and add the sprint into the Sprint field.

adding issues to an active sprint is not something that should really be done so I don't think making it an option in the sprint itself would be a good idea. just MO.
