We want to add SLA timings to jira tickets to know whether the tickets are getting resolved in the given time .Which helps us a lot to improve our performance in JIRA.

With the add-on SLA Time and Report, you can easily track your issues SLAs and get to know whether the tickets are getting resolved in the given time. Also, you can set SLA timer value and statuses when countdown should be turned on or turned off according to your issues workflow, project, and priorities.
What's also important, you can use private or shared filters to generate SLA reports and later export them as XLSX or CSV file.

I'd suggest to use Jira Service Desk in order to configure SLAs, but there are also some add-ons that would provide you with this functionality. This other post contains details that may interest you:
