How to activate jira components in free plan

I just created a new Jira project using the free plan.

I need to have components to my project. I followed the suggestion that says, go to project setting > features > then enable components.

But unfortunately, I cannot "components" under features.

If you are working on a team managed project, components do not exist.

They exist only on company managed projects.

How do i know if i am working on a team managed project or company managed project? Am in a learning phase now so asking you this :)
