How to Restrict selected users not to Edit the Custom field in JIRA Cloud

Hi Team,

I have a number custom field called "Rollbacks", so now I want specific user only can edit the field. So, anyone help me how to achieve this requirement.

Hi @Sreenatha Reddy J 

• Remove these fields from the Edit Issue screen
• Create self transitions and add to these transition screens containing these fields
• Add conditions to the above self transitions to allow only specific users to use them

When the specific users will click on this transition, the transition screen will appear and they will be able to edit your custom fields.

Please let me know any 3rd party application to achieve this requirement, the above resolution already tried, and my team is not accepting this workaround.
