Hi I am having a hard time finding where should I remove the fields that are necessary to be filled up while transitioning status.
I don't want these fields to show up when transitioning to other status.
Can anyone help me figure this out I really need it badly without removing these custom fields within the project
Thank you so much!
Hello @rbravo
When a screen displays during a Status change, that happens because a Screen has been associated with the transition.
You will need to examine the Workflow Scheme associated with the project. In the Workflow Scheme Workflows are associated to Issue Types for the project. You will need to find the workflow associated with the affected issue type.
Within a workflow scheme a workflow can be associated to more that one issue type. You will need to check if the workflow is used by more than one issue type. If it is all the associated issue types will be affected.
A workflow can be used in more than one Workflow Scheme. A Workflow Scheme can be used by more than one project. You will have to check for those also. Any change you make to the workflow can affect other projects that use the same Workflow Scheme or a Workflow Scheme that uses the affected Workflow.
In the affected Workflow find the transition from the status your issue was in to the status you had selected. If you don't want any of the fields displayed during the transition, then remove the screen from the transition.

If you want to keep some of the fields then you have to edit the screen to remove the unwanted fields. The screen may be used in more than one Workflow transition and all that use it would be affected
