How to I integrate Jira 7.13 with bitbucket?

I have not found any documentation that explains this. All of the documentation I have found is outdated or for cloud.

Hi Nicole

There is not much to configure:

1. Create the application links between Jira an Bitbucket. It's quite straightforward but here is the documentation.
2. Once the link is created open the Smart Commit settings of the Bitbucket link in Jira (3 dots) and enable it. It might be enabled by default, I'm not sure.
   
   
3. Check your project permission schemes for the View Development Tools permission. Grant this permisison to anyone that might need it.
   With this permission users will see linked Bitbucket branches, commits, ... on their Jira tickets.

I think that's it. Is there anything else you are missing?
