How to Bold Text in Jira

Hi,

I Cant seem to Bold any text in the Title/Summary or Comment Field using Text Effects (* Word *)

Please advise.

Summary does not support text formatting.

Comments and other text fields do, but you need to check the field configurations to make sure the fields are set to have a rich-text renderer (not plain text)
