I have a Jira Filter, and I'm looking how to send the results of the JCL to the assignees of the tickets that are returned from the Jira Filter once a week on Monday.
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Did you have a look to the documentation on how to subscribe to filters
https://www.atlassian.com/blog/jira-software/jql-the-most-flexible-way-to-search-jira-3-of-4
and https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/constructing-cron-expressions-for-a-filter-subscription-939938814.html might be good places to start
Cheers
Kurt
Hello Kurt, How to get to the command line or where can you use the cron expressions? We are using Jira v8.20.12
Thanks,
Garret
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
once you create your filter and save it you will have the option to subscribe to the filter and to specify the interval for notifications on filter results

Creating filter subscription is the solution for this.
The only disadvantage is that as the owner of the filter you can only set group subscriptions or a personal subscription, you can't set subscriptions for others (server/dc).
If you add a group all members of the group will receive all results of the filter in their email, so also issues not assigned to them.
You will have to instruct the users who would like to receive this info to set a personal subscription.
