How to Associate new Schemes to existing project with data.

Hi Team,

We are planning to do a JIRA Cleanup and Standardize the following across all projects within organisation. 

Issue Type, Screens, Workflows, Field Configuration and Permissions.

Critical part is that there are several changes from the existing and new Issue type and its screen fields, workflow states and Field configuration.

So, anyone can help me with the ways to associate the new Schemes without loosing data from the fields that are not part of the new schemes.

Hi Devi,

I would add the new Issue Types and workflow statuses to the existing Schemes first. 

Then I would do Bulk Changes to update the values before having the system move them as a part of the migration process.
