How does one get to know the access rights level once successfully logged into Jira?

One is provided access to Jira and across multiple projects, but one would like to know the role / level based on the rights that is provided - Where can one view this information?  Also is this common for all projects available for access to a given user or does this differ from project to project?

Hi @Kanchanamala K,

you can't see your permissions, if you are not at least project administrator.

Permissions are granted by project, every project can be configured on its own.

Thanks for the response, this clarifies.  So, one can be a Project administrator for one proj and not for another and the permission would be provided only based on the project selected post login.  Hope this is right.
