How do you use Planned Sprint start for Sprint Report?

At my last job we use to set our planned sprint start date/time to the first day of the sprint and 11:59pm. We did this because it allowed us to start the Sprint during sprint planning while the team figures out exactly what they are going to forecast for the Sprint, but the "churn" doesn't show up on the Sprint report (as PBIs removed or added after the Sprint start). We were using Jira on prem.

At my current job, where we are also using Jira on prem, but the Sprint Report is using the actual Sprint Start, not the planned sprint start. I did notice that when I go to the Sprint Report I see both the actual and planned date/time. At my previous company I don't ever remember seeing two dates (actual and planned)

Does anyone know how to configure the Sprint Report to use the Sprint planned start date/time instead of the actual. I know this is possible as this is how it worked at a company I recently left.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks

Eric
