How do you search for a parent with a space in the query?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

Since the change from Epics to Parent, I can no long search for a parent issue if there is a space in the query.

On the Create issue screen, there is the Parent field.  If I start typing, it starts to show results, and the issue I want is in the list, until I add a space, then the results show "No matches found".

This use to work when it was the Epic field.

@Darien I would suggest using the issue key.  This way you will get exactly what you want especially on a large instance.  I believe the suggested results show the most recently viewed issues that match the search criteria.
