When I am viewing a ticket at e.g. https://company.atlassian.net/browse/FOO-123, I can enter the "labels" dialog by pressing the keyboard shortcut "L".
And then I can add labels by scrolling through the list using the "up" and "down" arrow keys.
And I can add labels by pressing "enter"
However, in order to accept the labels, I need to click out of the dialog.
How can I accept the labels I have just added using just the keyboard?
If I press "esc", it removes all the labels.
Pressing "enter" either adds a new label if one is selected, or does nothing.
Pressing a combination of "cmd", "shift", "ctrl" + "enter" also has no effect.
For me, if I press the Alt key, this accepts the selected labels and 'clicks out' of the dialog box
On my Mac, this doesn't seem to work.

There may be some useful information here with regards to keyboard shortcuts and modifier keys (for different OS's). For me on Windows Alt achieves what you are looking for, but perhaps on Mac you'll need to try a combination of Alt /+ Cntrl /+Shift at the same time to achieve the same outcome? My Mac keyboard shortcut knowledge is rather limited, unfortunately!

I can confirm it also doesn't work for me on macOS.
Control, Shift, Option/Alt or Command -- nor any combination thereof that I can find -- appears to submit the labels field. You need to manually click outside. Tedious when trying to stick to the keyboard.
Using Chrome 101 on macOS 12.3.1.

Not ideal, but I've found there is some kind of "save" button that appears, hidden beneath the autocomplete dropdown, that you can press tab once to move the focus to then press enter, and it saves the labels
