I am unable to drag and drop for the layout configuration of my dashboard in any of the prepopulated layouts. Presently I have to scroll to see any additional gadget inputs.

Can you provide some more information? What do you mean by "prepopulated layouts"? Can you describe what you have and exactly what you are tying to do?
