How do we use BitBucket/Jira DVCS in Jira workflow?

We would like to be able to update a custom field on a JIRA ticket with the branch a commit was made to for a particular issue. We have Bitbucket hooked up to JIRA using the DVCS plugin and can see the related commits, branches and pull-requests, but there doesn't seem to be anyway to query them in JIRA or use them within a workflow.

 

How can we access fields about commits/branches/pull-requests from DVCS in JIRA?

Hi Matt,

it is not possible to update custom fields in JIRA from Bitbucket, or using the DVCS connector.
