How do we reorder epics in a Kanban board?

We are using the Kanban template, and when we look at a board, we see the epics ordered as we created them...

Is it possible to reorder them? I would like to have the most important ones at the top, and the less important ones at the bottom.

There are two ways you might do that.

Method 1:

1. Enable the Backlog view for the board.
2. On the Backlog view, enable the display of the Epics Panel.
3. Within the Epics Panel, drag and drop the Epics into the order that you want. 
   This changes the Rank of the Epics (like you would change the rank of the child issues) and will be reflected in the Epics Swimlanes display of the board when you refresh the board.

Method 2: If you are using a Company Managed board, not using the Backlog view and don't want to turn it on even temporarily:

1. On your board disable the swimlanes so that the Epics show as cards on the board.
2. Drag and drop the Epic cards to reorder them as you would want them ordered when displayed as swimlanes.

This method works only on a Company Managed project board. On a Team Managed project Kanban board the Epics don't display as cards on the board.
