Sprint +1 can be really frustrating when you want to see the actual sprint names directly in Jira rather than having to open each work item or export the data to Excel.
You can try to use Issue History for Jira (Work Item History) app by SaaSJet. In the app, you can add the Sprint field as a column to see the actual sprint names linked to your work items directly in the table.
The report can be filtered by project, sprint, JQL, date range, or specific work items.
It also helps answer questions such as:
- What work items were moved to the following Sprint?
- What work items were in more than one Sprint?
- At what time was the Sprint modified?
- Who made the change?
If at some stage you do need the data outside Jira, you can export the report to Excel or CSV.

This should provide you with a simpler alternative to exporting the list of work items to Excel each time.
to the best of my knowledge, the native list view can't be configured to expand the Sprint column, so the "+1" rendering is there to stay for now.
If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, JXL for Jira solves exactly this. It's a full spreadsheet view of your work items inside Jira, and its Sprint column shows every sprint an item has been in, with sorting and filtering like in Excel. If you want the data more structured, there are also dedicated smart columns such as Closed sprints, Active sprint, First/Last sprint, and Number of sprints. A sheet can be based on any JQL filter, so your existing filtered lists carry over directly.
