How do i add custom drop down on worklog screen using development in jira.

I want to add custom drop down field on work log screen using develpment.

After logging work do you want the value selected in the dropdown to be displayed on the Worklog issue tab panel too ?

This will require too many changes in the jira source, jsp's etc .and I think this is not possible.( i may be wrong)

A work around can be to add a select list customfield and make the log work field and the customfield compulsory on issue resolve screen
