Hi,
How do I transfer a team-managed project from one organisation to another?
One solution that I've explored is to set up a new project manually on the target side and invite all the users, but I can't figure out how to best transfer all issues including attachments.
So if someone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated!
thank you in advance!
Henrik
Hi @Henrik Mattsson,
Although not a simple process, the recommended workaround on CLOUD-11467 (open feature request to support migration of team managed projects) is to convert your team managed project to company managed and then use the migration assistant to migrate it to your other site.
A reference to the conversion into company managed is also on that issue. But to reduce some steps, documentation is available online.
Hope this helps!
About your additional question:
What about the other process i suggested, i.e. setting up the new project manually and then transferring all the issues to that project? I moved a while ago, and if I remember correctly, I used this process. However, now I can't find the guide I used, so I might be wrong. Setting up the new project is no problem, but I'm unsure about how to transfer the issues. What do you think?
That would involve csv export and import of your data. But that is not very well supported for team managed projects, you'll lose history, struggle with attachments ...

@Henrik Mattsson if you would be kind enough to mark @Walter Buggenhout answer as accepted, in order to help others with similar questions, that would be wonderful! Thanx!
