Hi Guys
Ok so this is VERY annoying. Jira BOT has taken it upon itself that whenever anyone posts a Jira Defect link in any of my slack channels I get a whole blurb below the link about the defect.
I DO NOT NEED TO SEE THIS
It fills my chat channels with useless information. If I want to look at Jira tickets ill go to Jira.
How do I turn this "feature" off please and or how do I arrange for bots assasination?
Ta
Hi @mnenadic , welcome to the Community!
You can manage the issue previews sent by the Jira Cloud app with the /jira previews command in Slack. This will let you toggle previews for the entire channel the command is used in, or for any URLs that you put in any channel in Slack.

Daniel

In the screenshot shown, it looks like you've got a custom app installed on your Slack workspace. I'm not sure if that is an app built for Jira Server (if you have on-prem Jira and need to do advanced configuration, our documentation suggests creating a custom app) - or if someone installed something from a third party. At any rate, this is not the official app for Jira Cloud.
Here's the link to the official Jira Cloud app for Slack. You may need to work with a Slack administrator at your organization to get it installed and figure out who installed the other (custom) app.
