How do I sort the Road by Component?

Devin Griffin
August 13, 2021

I have a roadmap with Epics and I have 4 components of my product.

Each component has a different set of Epics and timeframes. I would like to group, swim lane or filter my Project Roadmap by Component or for that matter any other attribute (field) of the Epic.

Are you using Basic Roadmaps (in the Jira Standard plan) or Advanced Roadmaps (in the Jira Premium plan)?

@Trudy P Claspill

I am using the Free plan right now. Perhaps I can assume Basic Roadmaps?

I don't use Roadmaps. But I found this documentation on Advanced Roadmaps, which indicates sorting by Components is not an option. From that I would assume sorting by Components is not an option in the Basic Roadmaps either.

@Trudy P Claspill

Thank you for the link.

I fished around a little and found that what i really wanted to know, is :how to Group the Roadmap by component."

You helped me clarify my own question.

Here is the link that answered my actual question
