How do I sort by key and have the sort ignore the epic key?

Heyo!

You trying to sort in a filter view? if so, maybe it would work to exclude the epics from the jql? 

<YOUR_JQL> and issuetype != Epic

Ah, ok. It's not possible to sort all, including epics, and have them treated as different items?

I can see the same issue for the Created by sort. It hides the story under the epic and I can't see it at the top of the list. I was hoping to just use the default List view, but I guess I will need to create my own filter. Thanks.

And have a separate filter for Epics only, so I can see those too...
