How do I show the story point estimate field in my Jira Backlog View

I am using a team managed project and would like to see my story point estimate field in the 'backlog view' of issues/cards for the current and upcoming sprints. 

I previously had this view when using a company based project. 

Any advice on how I can do this?

Have you set your sprint board's estimation statistic to the story-point estimation field?

Yes I have recently changed to include the story point estimation field however it still isn't showing the story points in the backlog.

Actually I have added the story point estimation field to the issue/cards not to the "Sprint Board's estimation statistic". 

How do I do that?

Actually...problem solved! I have added story point estimation as a way to track the boards estimation statistic!
