How do I set the default to open a project to the backlog instead of active sprint?

When I click on the project from the Projects tab in the top banner, I'm brought to the project's active sprint. Same for if I choose the project board from the left-hand navigation. I want the default to be the backlog so that when I open a project, I'm viewing the backlog.

It seems that this is not configurable, but there is a request for that feature.
