Hi! I have setup Automation rules to create Tasks daily with today's due date. When the task is created, I get an email but the due date shows 1 day prior in the email. When I open my jora board, the due date shows today's date.

  • How do I set the due date so it shows the current day in both the email confirming the task was created as well as on the jira board?

Hi @Christian Beebe

Is that the whole automation? it seems you are missing a part of it. Can you put it here to have the whole picture?

Jira smart values - date and time

Current date and time {{now}}

Returns the current date and time in UTC+00:00.

Take a look at how the now smart value shows the date.

Are you asking about the last screenshot? the Created/Updated date?

Can you upload a screenshot of the email you get with the date?

Regards

Aaron

Hi! The task was created via automation 02/Jan/24 and I was expecting the email to have Due Date 02/Jan/24 as well as the task on Jira. I am using the Due Date field that is a Date Picker so I'm unable to use the Smart Value to add hours successfully.
