How do I print (WITHOUT purchasing add-ons) the details of a single User Story?

I want to print the full details of a single user story WITHOUT having to purchase an add-on.

My research so far reveals that there are plenty of extra-cost add-ons that will do what I need, but I do not have the authority to purchase, much less install such add-ons, so I need a built-in, already-in-the-box way of printing the details of a single User Story.

Depending on what you want to print there are a couple of options. You can print the issue card from a board and you can also print the issue details when you are in the detailed view of the issue. Depending on if you are using Jira Server or Jira Cloud, the export button looks a bit different.

From here you have the option to export the detailed view to XML, Word or a printable format.
