Can you provide a screen image of what you are seeing? Obscure confidential information.

Are you trying to delete a user account, or your subscription to the Jira product, or an Atlassian Cloud Organization  in which you have product subscriptions?

When we understand what you are trying to delete and if you provide the details of what you have tried and the response you got, then we'll be able to provide advice relevant to your situation.

hI @Louise Stallard 

Is the is a,managed account, is there a lock icon shown within the users details?

Then this account has to be disabled or removed at the source, or you can remove the permissions of this user, then the user still has an Atlassian account, but no permissions to access the tooling.
