How do I move a product backlog from an OnDemand version of Jira/Greenhopper to an on premise version

I have tried to export the data to CSV from OnDemand version and then import to the on premise version but it's not working. Tons of errors. Is there an easier way to do this?

Possibly, it depednds on what you've got configured and what you're trying export.

CSV is a good way to do it. If you tell us what the errors are and how you've configured it, we might get that to work.

You could also try exporting the OnDemand data and importing projects from the backup file. Or talking over REST. Or scraping it to a spreadsheet and using that to generate Jelly scripts. Or...
