How do I import and create Tasks from Meetings added in someones Google Calendar?

Rohan Singh
January 27, 2022

We are trying to log each and every task/meeting being worked on in Jira.

While the team creates Tasks directly on Jira, I am searching for some sort of automated way to create tasks directly from Google Calendar. For e.g if someone has spent 30 minutes in Daily scrum call, there should be a ticket created for the meeting via google calendar.

Plugins like Tempo allow that but I am looking for another alternative.

Hi @Rohan Singh, I'm quite interested in this use case at the moment gathering interest and drafting solutions. How did you end up proceeding with this?

Our App Meetical Meetings allows creating Meeting Notes in Confluence from Google Calendar. We are exploring a new feature to also allow you to create a corresponding Jira Ticket, link them etc. Even automatically log time for all attendees. Would you be available for a call? Would be awesome if you reach out to me via meetical.io/support

Thank you!
