How do I get Story Points field to display on custom issue type field

I added a new custom issue type to my project that I would like to assign story points to. I see the story points field on the screen that is assigned to the issue type I added, but I cannot get the field to appear. Is it possible to get Story Points field to appear for custom issue types?

Hi Vinny,

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

You can get that easily by following this.

From the menu bar select Create Issue -> Select the Project and new Issue Type -> Click on "Configure fields" (extreme right corner) -> Select "where is my field".

A new pop up window will be populated and then type "Story points" and then Enter.

It will show what are all the fields/screens need to be updated to view that field.

Just like this and based on the suggestions given by Jira, update the fields/screens accordingly.
